The Dubai Science and Engineering Fair (DSEF) is an opportunity for the school students from all over Dubai to unleash their creative minds and have the freedom to apply whatever they learned in the classroom to an actual science project that the community and the society can both benefit from. The exhibition showcased a number of new and innovative ideas that were implemented by students, all of the ideas and projects were out of the box and reflected that nothing is impossible in the UAE.
A Science and Engineering Fairs are typically a competitive exhibition of science and technology projects usually prepared and presented by school students. It allows the students from various elementary, middle and high schools to compete with one another in science and technology activities. They present their science projects in the form of a report and models.
DCEF Is an opportunity for students to apply the scientific method to conduct independent research. The mere purpose of science fairs is to instill scientific attitude in the young generation to make them realize the interdependence of science, technology and society. Science fairs provides a platform for the students and teachers where they can learn from each other’s experiences and get motivated to design and develop something new and innovative
DECF is a wise investment of time and effort that pays off generously. It can open doors to career opportunities, improve speaking skills and increase scientific knowledge. The benefits of participating in DEFC are only limited by how much effort you are going to put in.
Participation in DECF will help distinguish students on college applications, they are able to network with their peers who have similar interests, and they also get an opportunity to earn significant prizes or qualify for scholarships.

University of Dubai Students Pitch Competition (UDSPC) to provide the opportunity for university students to network with other participants, connect with mentors and investors, and learn about new resources available for entrepreneurs. The (UDSPC) encourages students to explore and express their Technical/business ideas in a friendly and encouraging environment in 15 minutes or less. The competition is open to all University of Dubai undergraduate and graduate students. You can compete alone or in teams of up to three members. AED 20,000 in cash prizes has been made available to help students start a new business venture.
